Hello APS families,
On April 24, 2024, we have some exciting activities coming up!
The Grade 1 to Grade 6 students will be participating in an Electives Day. We will have three options for your child to choose from and they will rank them in order of preference from 1-3.
Option 1: Pickleball and Disc Golf
Activities:
- 2 hours of pickleball
- 1 hour of disc golf at Train Park
(we will also have the opportunity to play outdoor field games if necessary and use the outdoor climber)
Option 2: Boys and Girls Club
Activities:
- Morning: Music Room and Rock Climbing
- Afternoon: Low Ropes Course and Gym Games
Option 3: Rotation of 4 activities at APS
Activities:
- Visual Art Lesson
- Coding with the Library
- Dance Class
- Baking
Each activity will be for 45 minutes. They will participate in 2 activities in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Each student will participate in all 4 activities.
Your child will rank their preferences on April 11, 2024 and will know what activity they will be attending by Monday, April 15th, 2024. If your child is attending either the Boys and Girls Club or LEX/Trainpark, there will be a permission form sent home.
