Alexandra staff – goodbye, welcome and thank you!

Congratulations to Ms.Wasteneys, who is embarking on her next great adventure – retirement.  We certainly appreciate your passion for science and nature studies. You will be missed!


Ms. Nadon’s LTO at Alexandra will come to an end.  This was her first year at Alexandra and she made a tremendous impact in our school with her efforts to coach multiple teams and clubs as well as with her grade 3 students. Thank you, Ms. Nadon!


We unfortunately have to say goodbye to Ms. Bell and Mrs. Teatro.  Due to Alexandra having one less classroom next year, both Ms. Bell and Mrs. Teatro were affected. 


Ms. Bell did a wonderful job teaching our young Royals in the grade 1 class.  Her passion for the early years were a wonderful addition to our Alexandra staff.  Ms. Bell will be teaching at Leslie Frost Public School next year. We will miss you, Ms. Bell!


Mrs. Teatro’s passion for music and the arts will be missed. Her contributions to our Christmas play and talent show were exceptional  Mrs. Teatro will be teaching at Bobcaygeon Public School. Thank you, Mrs. Teatro!


Ms. Rainey comes to us with an extensive background in music and is thoroughly excited to be joining our Royal community.  Ms. Rainey taught music at Dr. George Hall this past year.


We welcome back Mrs. McCoy, who is returning from maternity leave to teach in our grade 6 classroom.


We welcome back Ms. Ferguson, who is returning from an Instructional leadership role within Trillium Lakelands DSB.  Ms. Ferguson will be in our grade 2/3 classroom next year.


We are excited to announce that Mrs. MacLean, after 5 successful years as our Special Education Resource Teacher, is returning to the classroom to take on an exciting new challenge. 


We understand that students and families are curious about class placements and teacher assignments next year.  Below are the tentative classrooms, but please understand that due to fluctuations in enrollment and staffing, these placements can change.
