It is hard to believe that the March Break is over already! I hope that you had a great week!
I am looking forward to seeing the students on Monday morning and I can’t wait to hear about how they spent their time off!
With Easter falling next weekend, this week and next week are both four day school weeks! Let’s have some fun on Thursday with an Easter-themed spirit day. Students can be as creative or as low key as the family schedules permit. Dressing in Easter colours, painting your face like an Easter egg or wearing Bunny ears are just a few ideas. However, as I have seen before the Royal creativity will flow and we will see some pretty creative ideas!
Be on the lookout for the pizza and milk orders this week. Ms. Zimmermann will be sending them home early this week.
Although the playground has dried up, we still have some pockets of wet and mud. I encourage the students to have wind/mud pants for outdoor play. As well, students of all ages are encouraged to throw in a backup pair of pants in their school bag just in case! As winter boots disappear, students are reminded that they need an indoor and an outdoor pair of shoes. Mr. DeMaeyer works hard to keep our floors looking awesome and we can do our part by making sure that we have a change of shoes.
Thank you to the many parents who were able to attend parent-teacher interviews before the March Break. The staff also appreciated those parents who let us know that they couldn’t make it at the scheduled time. As always, the staff are always open to meeting with you when you have questions or concerns.
