Alexandra Public School will continue with its annual Terry Fox Run this year. The scheduled date for the run will be Friday, October 2. The run will begin at approximately 2:00 p.m. Our rain date will be Monday, October 5th. This year marks the 35th anniversary of Terry’s run and we hope that we can make this our best one ever!
Our whole school will participate and we are hoping that each student can donate at least $2! Donations may be brought to school any day next week and will be collected by our Grade 6 Terry Fox Ambassadors. As well students may collect pledges using the pledge form or donations may be made online. To donate online, you go to: http://www.terryfox.org/Donate/Donate_to_a_Participant_Team_or_Event.html and click on “National School Run Day / Little Fox Run” (Sponsor a Student / School). Enter “Alexandra Public School” into the “School Name” search box and it will appear below. Then just follow the steps on the page.
This year, we hope to raise our goal of $2000!
